BeingGirl - P&Gs challenge to Sunsilk Gang of Girls

Global FMCG giants, Proctor & Gamble [P&G] and Unilever are always at war - not just in products but also on the web.

Hindustan Lever Ltd, the Unilever subsidiary in India early this year launched SunSilkGangOfGirls.Com, a social networking space for the Indian girl. SunsilkGangOfGirls is a superhit space and HLL has proposed to take this model globally. P&G unable to bear the humiliation started a website for the teenage girl - BeingGirl. However, this is just an informative site and not a full blown Web 2.0 space like GangofGirls.

Hopefully, folks at P&G reading this critic will do something innovative and not just copy the GangOfGirls.
