Google Search Engine, Orkut and AdWords localized

Google's VP for Asia-Pacific and Latin American operations, Sukhinder Singh Cassidy unveiled Google's plans for India.

Google also plans to localize its Social Networking website, Orkut in Indian languages. Also integrate Google Talk with Orkut and a mobile interface [SMS] since mobile is the most popular platform in India. Just about when the GSM service providers are planning to unite to form a common mobile advertising platform in India, Google has said that it will launch AdWords advertising for the mobile platform.
